The impetus for this training, which has been running since 2017, comes from the Campus mondial de la mer initiative. Administrative support is provided by the Department of Lifelong Learning (SUFCA) at the University of Western Brittany.
The programme for this continuing professional development course draws on the wealth of complementary skills and knowledge afforded by the Campus mondial de la mer community. Course contributors with a variety of profiles – academics, researchers, engineers, managers and entrepreneurs – are invited to share their expertise. Most come from institutions and organisations in western Brittany and offer a comprehensive overview of the issues associated with developing human activities at sea and the transitions now underway in these various sectors.
