This conference is therefore an opportunity to address questions related to (i) the biodiversity and functioning of these reef systems, (ii) monitoring, management, and restoration methods for these marine habitats, and (iii) the environmental and climatic challenges these species and systems face, particularly climate change and associated disruptions. It is also an opportunity for the scientific community working on these issues to meet and exchange ideas, share the latest data, propose new methods of analysis and treatment, and form new projects, especially by creating new research groups to address the global challenges of today.
