- Ocean Hackathon® mobilizes each year many data sets of all types (bathymetry, habitats, activities, etc.) made available to teams who tackle challenges. In order to help you to imagine your challenge and prepare your Ocean Hackathon®, a webinar dedicated to data is organised on May 18th, during the call for challenges.
Please note that this webinar starts at 4pm (Paris time).

Any physical or legal person can propose an innovative challenge for Ocean Hackathon®. This webinar is for anyone interested in submitting a challenge in one of the 18 cities hosting Ocean Hackathon® this year.
This webinar is an opportunity for you to :
- discover Ocean Hackathon® and what a challenge is more precisely;
- identify who the organisers are in your city;
- get an overview of the range of data that will be made available to you during the Ocean Hackathon® weekend by local, national and international data providers;
- express wishes on specific data for your challenge;
- ask any questions to the organisers and data providers.
This webinar is therefore an important step in the preparation of your challenge! You will then have until 6 June to propose your challenge to the organising city of your choice.
