The conference is organized by the Institute of Marine Sciences (ISMAR) of the Italian National Research Council, the Consortium for Lagoon Research (Corila), and the University of Venice Ca’ Foscari.
There will be themed sessions and poster events during the 5 days of the conference. The venue will only hold a maximum of 200 people, so do not wait too long for registering.
In addition to the excellent coastal lagoon science content, special guided visits to Venice will be arranged, as well as an exclusive, private (no tourists!) visit to the San Marco Basilica prior to the conference dinner. Because of the limitations of space, we urge you to organize back to back meetings either before (18-19 January) or after (25-26 January) the conference dates. We look forward to the participation of international colleagues from all over the world who work on coastal lagoons.
