Anticipating and accelerating transitions in the regional economy, in line with Breizh COP
BDI has been positioned in the sectors of the future or sectors undergoing transformation by the Brittany Region, with the aim of structuring strong industries in these areas, which are driving economic development and employment. BDI is involved in the extension of innovation support structures through the testing and marketing of solutions developed by local companies. Our actions help to strengthen the capacity for innovation of Breton companies and increase their visibility on new markets.

Enhancing the attractiveness of Brittany:

BDI contributes to the influence and attractiveness of Brittany, in collaboration with the regions and the Breton players involved in economic development and innovation. A single signature, the Brittany brand, gives body and coherence to all the actions undertaken.

Our sector expertise:

The mission entrusted to BDI by the Brittany Region aims to support the development of the following sectors through major structuring programmes (GPS): cybersecurity, smart agriculture, the agri-food factory of the future, competitive sailing, the driving force behind the composite materials sector, relocation, marine energies and, more recently, renewable hydrogen.

BDI puts its skills at the service of each GPS to :

- Support innovation in conjunction with local players,
- Facilitate the testing of new solutions,
- Give Breton companies access to new markets,
- Develop the attractiveness of the region.
