An international expert in accidental water pollution organised around five activities: response support, planning, training, analysis and testing, and research. We are also a recognised documentation resource centre. Cedre has been active in France and internationally for almost 40 years. Its multidisciplinary team is made up of 50 technicians, engineers and PhDs.
Since 2014, we have also been appointed by the French Ministry of Ecology to lead the network monitoring macro-waste and microplastics in coastal sediments.
Our teams have been driven by three core values for almost 40 years:
Expertise: over the years, we have built up a wealth of knowledge and know-how in the field of accidental water pollution, thanks to our experience in the field, our scientific skills and the efficient gathering of information;
Responsiveness: on a daily basis, our teams anticipate the needs and requests of our partners and customers, but they are also able to provide a high-quality response to urgent requests;
Environmental protection: from upstream preparation to post-accident restoration, our actions are always aimed at limiting the impact on the environment as much as possible, while taking into account the protection of people and economic aspects.
