IFM (Institut Français de la mer)

The Institut Français de la Mer (French Institute of the Sea) is a non-profit organisation whose aim is to "introduce the French to the sea and make them appreciate it", to raise awareness of the fundamental role played by the oceans in all aspects of human life and the planet's major balances, and to work towards the sustainable development of maritime activities.
