Testimony on the collaboration between Fiiish and MASMECA
- The technological platforms of research centres support innovation. The example is given by the collaboration developed between the MASMECA technological platform located at ENSTA Bretagne and the company Fiiish specialized in fishing lures on a project of recyclable fishing rod.

Louis Leveuf, project manager at Fiiish presents the Gwalenn Du project, a project of recyclable fishing rods and windsurf masts made from high performance composites, which is part of an eco-environmental approach.
To develop the manufacturing process, the material had to be mechanically characterized, which could not be done internally at Fiiish.
Younès Demmouche, in charge of the MASMECA platform (from Materials to Structure, Advanced Experimental Mechanics), explains how MASMECA favors access to research structures for companies of all sizes, from SMEs to large industrial groups, in the fields of marine, defense and transportation. A support and quality approach supports innovative projects.
