Who organises the local edition in Peniche?

Polytechnic University of Leiria (PUL), Smart Ocean (SO) and Blue Bio Techpreneurs (BBT) aim to modernize marine industries, promote blue careers, and drive regional economic growth through innovation, cooperation and capacity building. SO fosters innovation by bridging science (PUL), technology, and entrepreneurship to modernize fishing, seafood processing, and tourism while advancing aquaculture, biotechnology, and digitalization. It serves as a hub for business attraction and collaboration,acting as a catalyst for a sustainable marine-based economy. BBT strengthens ties between academia and industry, promotes blue careers, and supports companies in accessing talent. It develops learning programs to boost interest in blue biotech, empower women, and support outermost regions.
